The Police Department is inviting residents throughout the Simi Valley community to unite on Saturday, July 31, for National Night Out. National Night Out represents the kind of motivation, pride, and determination that is helping to make many neighborhoods safer places throughout the year. The Police Department encourages you to celebrate National Night Out with one of the following:
- Host a Block Party
- Get the kids out for some games
- Close off your street for a community barbecue
- Relax and enjoy a summer evening
As an added bonus, if you register your Block Party by Friday, July 16, Simi Valley Police Officers will visit your Block Party between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. You can meet and greet one of our K-9 teams, members of the S.W.A.T. team, or McGruff, the crime fighting dog!
