City Manager:  Samantha C. Argabrite

The City Council appoints the City Manager to serve as the City’s chief administrative officer. The City Manager’s Office is responsible for ensuring that City Council policies and programs are carried out across all City Departments, assisting the City Council in responding to community needs, and providing responsible organizational and fiscal management to the City.

Sections of the City Manager's Office

The City Manager’s Office has four main sections:

The Economic Development Office acts to enhance private investment/employment in the community by facilitating expansion of existing local businesses and encouraging new business opportunities within the community.

The Human Resources Division manages the City’s personnel services and the City’s Risk Management Program.

The City Clerk’s Office maintains the legislative record, provides public information, and administers municipal elections.

The Community Programs and Facilities Division includes the Cultural Arts Center, Senior Center, Simi Valley Public Library, Youth Programs, and Volunteering programs.
