The Support Services Division is responsible for providing centralized support services to the City's operating departments including:
- City's purchasing program.
- Internal City services including U.S. Mail, shipping, receiving, courier, delivery, and warehouse functions.
- Internal City services including graphic art design, printing, and provision of convenience copy equipment for City offices.
- Internal City services including space planning, furnishings and equipment specification, and facility project management.
- City voice communications systems including telephone network, private two-way radio network, wireless voice services, and facsimile equipment.
Oversight of the City's purchasing program includes managing formal bid solicitations for the purchase of goods, services, and construction projects, and reviewing contracts recommended for award.
