Simi Valley Police Explorers

The Simi Valley Police Explorer Post is also part of the Youth Services Section. The Explorer Post was established in the 1970s and has been a guiding force in the development of hundreds of young men and women since its inception. The Explorer Post offers individuals 14 to 20 years of age an opportunity to learn about law enforcement. Explorers complete modified police academy training, assist officers in various tasks, and participate in ride-alongs with Patrol Officers. For information on how to become a member of this exciting program, contact the Post at (805) 583-6292.

To help support the Simi Valley Police Explorer Post, an annual Cops 'n Cruisers fundraiser is held.
