Bike Registration 

 REGISTER A BICYCLE

Welcome to the Simi Valley Police Department Bicycle Registration.  If this is an Emergency please call 911. Protect your bicycle by registering with the Simi Valley Police Department.  Bicycle registration is a free service for both adults and children.

Benefits of Registering your Bicycle:
  • Found registered bicycles are returned to their owners
  • Protects your investment
  • Helps prevent your bicycle from not ending up at a public auction
  • Assists in identifying the bicycle owner in the event of an accident.  Bicyclists and children rarely have identification on them

SVPD Bicycle Statistics on Average per Year:

  • 90 reported bicycle thefts
  • 7 reported stolen bicycles were returned to their owners
  • 50 found bicycles
  • 5 found bicycles were returned to their owners

Keep your Bicycle Safe:

  • Don't leave your bicycle outside unlocked or unattended
  • Lock your bicycle to a fixed object through both wheels and the frame
  • Take a photo of your bicycle and keep your bicycle registration with your records

or use the paper form located inside the Bicycle Registration Pamphlet. You can mail or drop the paper form off at the front desk of the Police Station.
