Applications are being accepted to fill one position on the City of Simi Valley's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Paratransit Advisory Committee. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have an ADA-certified disability, or regularly use the City's ADA Paratransit/Dial-A-Ride service, live in a household with an individual who is a regular user of the City's ADA Paratransit/Dial-A-Ride service, or are actively associated with a public or private agency providing services to the disabled. Successful applicants will be appointed by the City Council to serve a two-year term beginning May 2017.

Serving as an advisory board to the City Council, the seven-member ADA Paratransit Advisory Committee meets quarterly to review public Paratransit issues affecting individuals with disabilities.
