Nothing is more important than your health!  The expression “If you have your health you have everything” rings especially true as you age. That is why the Simi Valley Council On Aging, Adventist Health Simi Valley, and Kaiser Permanente have teamed up to bring you the 2018 Wellness Expo!

Rise and shine on Wednesday, May 23, to be at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi, where the Expo begins at 8:00 a.m.  You will have until noon to visit the booths of over 65 exhibitors specializing in important services for seniors.  Get information on health and social services, insurance, legal assistance, long-term care, and housing, along with many other resources to help seniors stay as healthy and happy as possible as they age.

Numerous free health screenings and services will be available on a first come, first served basis including carotid artery, glucose, blood pressure, hearing, body mass index (BMI), memory, and osteoporosis, and the Simi Valley Police will provide a “Drug Drop off Box” for safe disposal of prescriptions drugs.  In addition, local businesses and exhibitors have donated fabulous door prizes that attendees can enter to win!
