Youth Employment Service Job and Career Expo

The Youth Employment Service (YES) Job and Career Expo will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley. This event is free to job seekers and employers. The YES Job and Career Expo is an annual event, operated as a community service by the City of Simi Valley and sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley. Click here for the event flyer.
Job seekers ages 16 to 22 will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers and interview on the spot for open positions. Youth who attend the event should be dressed professionally and be prepared to complete employment applications and interview, as each year many employers extend offers the day of the event.
Businesses seeking part-time and summer employees can register for the YES Job and Career Expo at no charge by completing the attached application or calling Samantha Argabrite, Youth Employment Service Coordinator, at (805) 522-4473. More than 500 qualified high school students, high school graduates, and college students are expected to attend the 23rd Annual Job and Career Expo. Employers don’t want to miss this opportunity to recruit local candidates.
