The Simi Valley Public Library, in partnership with NASA, will be hosting the Space Out @ Simi Discovery Dome, a large and inflatable space planetarium. Step inside to watch informative and exciting space-related movies that explore other planets as well as important topics here on earth. The movies will be projected onto the interior of the dome, resulting in an immersive and surreal experience that is out of this world!
The dome will be located in the Simi Valley Public Library Community Room on the following dates:
- Saturday, August 5, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Thursday, August 17, 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Monday, August 21, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Movies will be shown on the hour and half hour and last between 12 and 20 minutes.
Space inside the dome is limited to 20 people at one time. Free tickets will be given out 30 minutes before each showing on a first come, first served basis.
