Deadline to Apply to Serve on the Task Force on Homelessness
As A Representative Who Has Experienced Homelessness in Simi Valley

The City of Simi Valley is currently accepting applications for a representative to volunteer to serve on the Task Force on Homelessness. The representative must of experienced homelessness within the City of Simi Valley. Applicants are encouraged to apply and will be interviewed by a City Council Interview Committee. One applicant will be nominated for appointment by the City Council at the May 1, 2017 meeting. The term will begin after the City Council appointment and end on February 28, 2019. The representative will participate in an advisory capacity to analyze, evaluate, and recommend strategies to address the issue of homelessness in Simi Valley.
If you or someone you know is interested, please click here to submit the application. The application deadline is April 5, 2017, for the term ending on February 28, 2019. One homeless representative will be selected through an interview process and appointed by the City Council on May 1, 2017.The Task Force on Homelessness meetings are open to the public and meet quarterly. The next meeting is scheduled for May 11, 2017 at 3:30 p.m.
