The City of Simi Valley is recruiting individuals interested in serving a four-year term on the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation (Foundation) Board.
The Foundation supports and enhances the presentation of the performing and visual arts, educational programs, and cultural activities at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center (Center). It also provides annual financial support and is currently building an endowment for the Center. Its signature fund raising event is the Spotlight Awards held each spring recognizing the contributions made by local performers, volunteers, educators and patrons.
Foundation Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center. The Foundation Board is comprised of 21 members, seven of which are selected by the City Council.
