Sunday, March 20 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. CSUCI Lecture Series at Simi Valley Public Library – Be a college student for a day! The U.S. Immigration Debate: Fact v. Fiction.

Immigration is a contentious issue in the United States, often leading to heated and divisive debates. Dr. Mary McThomas will explore underlying causes for such conflicting viewpoints by looking at common myths about immigration, media coverage, and how the framing of the immigration debate impacts public opinion.

Both programs will be held in the Library's community room.
