The City of Simi Valley is installing new signs that welcome visitors to the Simi Valley Rail Station at 5050 East Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley, CA. The 6 by 2 foot aluminum signs feature a welcome message and the StayInSimi.com logo flanked on each side by the City seal and Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum seal. The signs will be unveiled October 15th at 10:30 am by Mayor Bob Huber, City Council Members, and representatives from The Ronald Reagan Library and Museum and the Simi Valley Chamber Tourism Alliance who partnered to purchase and install the signs.
StayInSimi.com is the new marketing effort of the Simi Valley Chamber Tourism Alliance, the committee that directs the Simi Valley Tourism Marketing District formed in 2014. The website is designed to highlight positive messages about the Simi Valley lifestyle and direct potential buyers to Simi Valley’s hotels and largest assets including the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, wedding venues, sports venues, museums and other visitor appeals.
The Simi Vallat Rail Station is seen by hundreds of thousands of passengers annually riding the Metrolink and the Pacific Surfliner Train, most recently noted as one of the most scenic routes in the United States. The signs will also be mounted at the height of the train passenger windows to allow marketing to passengers that stay on the train as well as those who stop at the station.
“The Simi Valley Chamber Tourism Alliance was invited to partner on this project that was originally brought up by the City Council. We are proud to partner with the City on this significant and smart project and to promote the website, StayInSimi.com, as a valuable resource for our city’s residents as well as those in the business of selling Simi Valley.”
