In recognition of October as Stop Bullying Month, a panel of presenters will offer information on how the community can reduce the incidence of bullying by using the principles of restorative justice. These principles can help the community, parents, students and local agencies build social change, bring the community together to prevent bullying, and repair harm done. The panel will include representatives from the Ventura Council District Attorney’s Office, Simi Valley Police Department, Ventura County Behavioral Health, Ventura County Public Defender’s Office, and Ventura County Restorative Justice Collaborative. Facilitated breakout circles will follow the presentation.
