28th Annual Youth Employment Service (YES) Job and Career Expo

Job seekers ages 15 to 22 are encouraged to attend the 28th Annual Youth Employment Service (YES) Job and Career Expo scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley. This free event is provided as a community and business service by the City of Simi Valley and sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley and the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise.

Young adults and teens who attend the event should be dressed professionally, be prepared to complete employment applications and possibly interview, as each year some employers interview and extend job offers the day of the event. Additionally, businesses seeking full-time, part-time, seasonal or permanent employees or interns; and/or businesses willing to discuss career opportunities within their industries can still register for the YES Job and Career Expo at no charge by registering online at www.simivalley.org/JobExpo. With more than 500 qualified high school students, high school graduates, college students and out-of-school youth expected to attend, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to recruit and hire local candidates, educate young adults on career options and network with other businesses.
