Senior Center: Free Workshop on Chronic Joint Pain

Fibromyalgia and Arthritis are diseases that affect the joints and cause chronic pain. They also have similar symptoms and their intensity can fluctuate.

Learn more about these diseases and the current forms of treatment, from Dr. Christian Dequet, on Thursday, May 1, at 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi. Dr. Dequet is a graduate of the Chicago School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Rheumatology and he is on staff at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center.

This presentation is sponsored by the Fibromyalgia/Arthritis Support Group. They meet at 3:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month at the Simi Valley Senior Center. The presentation is free, but reservations are required. Make a reservation by stopping by the main reception desk at the Senior Center or by calling (805) 583-6363.
