The Simi Valley Council On Aging is pleased to announce their 10th annual Wellness Expo. This exciting event will take place on Wednesday, May 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi. The Wellness Expo will feature over 60 exhibitors specializing in important resources for seniors. Information will be provided on health and social services, legal assistance, long-term care and housing, along with many other resources to help seniors age actively, comfortably and gracefully.

Several health screenings and services will be available to attendees at no charge on a first come first served basis. Past Expos have included screenings for carotid artery, glucose, blood pressure, memory, scoliosis, hearing, balance, and osteoporosis. In addition, local senior living establishments will be offering complimentary tastings of their healthy menu items.
