Senior Center Spring Arts & Crafts Fair

With All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday

The Simi Valley Council On Aging is hosting a Spring Arts & Crafts Fair on Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Simi Valley Senior Center. Over 40 local artisans and vendors will feature beautiful and unique handcrafted gift items. A wide selection of gently used items will also be available at the Rummage Sale. Admission is free.

In conjunction with this event, the Rotary Club of Simi Valley is sponsoring an “All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast” at the Senior Center on Saturday morning, March 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, orange juice, and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the Simi Valley Meals On Wheels Program, which provides nutritious noontime meals to Simi Valley’s homebound seniors. Tickets for the breakfast are $5.00 and can be purchased in advance at the Senior Center, or at the door on the day of the event.

Supporting events such as these make the wonderful programs at the Senior Center possible. Residents are encouraged to bring family, friends, and neighbors to the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi, to join the fun. For more information, call (805) 583-6363.
