Don't let the rain dampen your holiday spirit! The 2012 Holiday Toy Express comes rain or shine!

Sunday, December 2

Metrolink's Holiday Toy Express, a 450-ton holiday train adorned with more than 50,000 twinkling lights and decorations, pulls into the Simi Valley Rail Station (5050 E. Los Angeles Avenue) on Sunday, December 2, at 6:45 p.m. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their friends will all be aboard to present a live musical stage show.

Simi Valley's own Merry Minstrels will be at the station in costume starting at 5:45 p.m. and will perform traditional carols while people wait for the train.

Spark of Love Toy Drive

Ventura County firefighters will also be present to accept new, unwrapped toys for the Southland Firefighters' "Spark of Love" toy drive. Local firefighters collect more than 100,000 toys each year! All toys will be distributed by firefighters in their local communities to families who may not be able to afford gifts this holiday season.
