The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Committee was created by the City Council as an ad hoc advisory body to assist in the review, evaluation, and funding recommendation of applications made to the City. The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) has announced that the City's 2012 CDBG allocation is $546,461. In addition, $54,664 in unspent prior years' funds will be available for a total of $601,125. Funds may only be used to provide services to or improve property that serves primarily persons of low- and moderate-income as defined by HUD. For more information regarding the CDBG program, call (805) 583-6728.
This is the final meeting of the CDBG Advisory Committee to rate and rank the applications, and propose funding allocations for FY 2012-13 to the City Council. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
