The Economic Development Committee explores methods to and ideas to assist the Simi Valley business community, including the the Shop Simi Valley First program and many of the City's Economic Development activities. The Committee is made up of two City Council Members, three representatives of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, three Simi Valley business owners not members of the Chamber of Commerce, and one representative each from the Simi Valley Town Center, the Simi Valley auto dealers, and the Simi Valley Hospital. Committee meetings are open to public, and members of the public are encouraged to attend and share their ideas and insights.
