Come on out to Rancho Simi Community Park on September 17, and join your neighbors as we do our part for the environment and remove trash from along the Arroyo Simi. We will meet at Rancho Simi Community Park on Erringer Road near the tennis courts at 9:00 a.m.
In an effort to further reduce the amount of trash, we are asking participants to bring their own bags, buckets, and drinking water. Finally a use for those plastic shopping bags that have been accumulating around your house! Bring your shopping bags or bring a bucket to fill with trash from the Arroyo.
We are also encouraging participants to bring their own drinking water, preferably in a reusable container rather than a single use plastic bottle. And don’t forget the sunscreen, a hat, and sturdy shoes!
