On September 25, 2010, the DEA is coordinating a collaborative effort to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from our nation's medicine cabinets.  The National Take-Back Day provides an opportunity for the public to dispose of expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications.

The program is anonymous and is accepting prescription and over the counter drugs in tablet or capsule form.  No intra-venous solution, injectables, or needles will be accepted.
