Come on out to Rancho Simi Community Park on September 25, and join your neighbors as we do our part for the environment and remove trash from along the Arroyo Simi. We will meet at Rancho Simi Community Park on Erringer Road near the tennis courts at 9:00 a.m.

This year’s theme is “Bring Your Own…” In an effort to further reduce the amount of trash we are asking participants to bring their own bags, buckets, and drinking water. Finally, you have a use for those plastic shopping bags that have been accumulating around your house! Bring your shopping bags, or bring a bucket to fill with trash from the arroyo.

We are also encouraging participants to bring their own drinking water, preferably in a reusable container rather than a single use plastic bottle. And of course, don’t forget the sunscreen, a hat, and sturdy shoes!

Each participant needs to have a completed and signed waiver to participate.  You may download the 2010 Coastal Cleanup Day Waiver or complete one at the event.
