The County of Ventura and the cities of San Buenaventura, Oxnard, Simi Valley, and Thousand Oaks (jurisdictions) receive funding on an annual basis from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address various housing and community development needs. To continue receiving these funds, the jurisdictions must prepare and submit several key planning documents: the Consolidated Plan, Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, Annual Action Plan, and Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). Several public meetings will be held throughout the County.
