As part of the YES Summer Workshop Series, the YES and Public Library will host four workshops for young adult job seekers.  On August 8, 2024, the Navigating the Workplace; How to Succeed Workshop will focus on employer expectations once they hire you and how to avoid common mistakes that could lead to the loss of a job or receiving minimal work hours. Participants will learn how to gain job skills and show initiative as an employee through free LinkedIn Learning courses and certificate programs available for Library card holders.  Participants will also learn important soft skills, including workplace communication etiquette.
