Public Invited to City Budget Meeting

Simi Valley, California 93063 - Introduction: A brief overview of the Proposed Budget for FY 2024-25 will be presented.
The Simi Valley City Council invites residents to attend a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at City Hall in the Community Room, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, to discuss the City’s FY 2024-25 Proposed Budget and Capital Improvement Program.
This meeting provides residents and business owners with the opportunity to hear a brief overview presentation by City staff and allows participants to provide their input and feedback on the City budget. Comments from the public meeting will be recorded and summarized, then provided to the City Council for consideration during budget deliberations.
The public meeting process was designed by the City Council to provide transparency and open discussion about the budget challenges and opportunities during this budget development process. The Proposed Budget will be presented to the City Council for consideration and adoption at its meeting on June 3, 2024.
Copies of the Proposed Annual Budget and Proposed Five Year Capital Improvement Program are available for review. A printed version is also available at City Hall (2929 Tapo Canyon Road) and the Simi Valley Public Library (2969 Tapo Canyon Road) for the public to review. Additionally, hard copies will be available for purchase at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road.
