The Simi Valley Youth Council, Simi Valley Unified School District’s Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) program and Simi Valley Public Library will host the city’s second annual Teen Wellness Night on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., outside the Simi Valley Public Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.
Tweens and Teens are invited to join the Youth Council for a fun night with giveaways of swag items related to teen health and wellness, plus prizes. This outdoor event will feature booths run by businesses, organizations, school clubs, and services groups promoting teen wellness, including nutrition, fitness, mental health, social connectedness through hobbies, volunteering opportunities, and more! Attendees may earn community service hours by completing a number of planned onsite service projects.
Admission is free and the Youth Council encourages all teens and their families to attend the 2024 Teen Wellness Night.
The Youth Council is an advisory board appointed by the City Council to advise the City on issues affecting youth in the community. Members of the public are invited to attend Youth Council meetings.
