The role of the PPI Committee is to provide oversight of the City's public information activities regarding its flood plains and flood insurance. The City is part of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) which provides access to NFIP flood insurance. The City also participates in the Community Rating System which provides flood insurance premium discounts for its public information activities.
