Simi Valley Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration to host the 27th Simi Valley Prescription Drug Take Back Day, designed to take back outdated, unused, and unwanted medications.
This event, scheduled on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10:00 p.m., to 2:00 p.m., will take place in the front parking lot of Simi Valley Police Department, located at 3901 Alamo Street, Simi Valley, CA.
Acceptable items to deposit: prescription medication pills, over-the-counter pills, and pill form pet prescription medication.
Items NOT accepted: No liquids; No creams; No vape devices or vape products; No intravenous solutions; No IV bags; No oxygen tanks; No nebulizer machines; No inhalers; No thermometers; and No sharps.
How to dispose of unwanted medications:
- Empty contents into a clear sealable bag. (Remove personal identification from pill bottles and recycle from home)
