DO YOU LOVE SIMI VALLEY AND WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
The City of Simi Valley’s four Neighborhood Councils provide resident input into the development of the community and make recommendations to the City Council on quality of life issues. Each of the Neighborhood Councils has an Executive Board comprised of 13 residents and meets monthly in the evenings.
The City is currently accepting applications for Neighborhood Council Executive Board members. Vacancies currently exist on each of the Neighborhood Council Executive Boards. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and residents of the City of Simi Valley. Successful candidates will be appointed by the City Council to serve in an advisory capacity for two-year terms from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 29, 2024. For more information about the Neighborhood Council program visit the Neighborhood Council home page or contact Kelly Duffy, Community Services Coordinator, at (805) 583‑6756.
