THE SIMI VALLEY NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS ARE RECRUITING FOR EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS

The Neighborhood Councils are a great way to get involved and learn more about your community.  The City is currently seeking applications from community members who can offer a variety of perspectives and experiences for Neighborhood Council Executive Board member positions.

The Neighborhood Councils meet on a monthly basis to:

• Advise the City Council and Planning Commission on resident concerns, development projects, and other matters on which the City Council has specifically requested their input
• Give residents the opportunity to voice their concerns or ask questions about their neighborhood and city
• Give developers the opportunity to dialog with residents and address concerns early in the planning process

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the City of Simi Valley.  Successful candidates will be appointed by the City Council to serve a two-year term from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2025.
