The Simi Valley Youth Council and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute will host the 2023 Youth Town Hall on Friday, January 20, 2023.  

The Youth Town Hall is a model youth-led, youth-driven event, providing a venue for middle and high school students to ask questions to members of a social media and mental health-focused discussion panel. Panelists include Marc Berkman, CEO of the Organization for Social Media Safety; Dr. Klive Oh, Assistant Professor of Public Relations at Pepperdine University; and Serena Nguyen, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Simi Valley Unified School District. Youth Town Hall attendees will have the unique opportunity to ask panelists a variety of questions of concern via Flipgrid, Poll Everywhere, social media, and the use of comment cards. After lunch, students have the opportunity to tour the museum.  

The event registration will close on January 17, 2023.  Middle and high school students can register online to attend the free event.
