Rainwater Harvesting Workshop

Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a free Rainwater Harvesting workshop hosted by the Metropolitan Water District. This is part of a series on learning how to design a yard using the principles of watershed-wise landscaping.

This webinar focuses specifically on best management practices for passive and active capturing of rainwater in the landscape:

  1. Review criteria and considerations in selecting a rainwater capture method
  2. Swales and Berms (calculations, setbacks, installation)
  3. Cisterns
  4. Integrating Hardscape

Start time is 6:00 pm.  We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle into your technology.
