On May 25, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., Startup Simi will host a free virtual Speaker Series event which will address how to build a strong community network for a successful business model. Recent trends have shown that community members are more likely and willing to support local businesses when they feel a part of the community surrounding it.

Attendees will hear from three local entrepreneurs who have built a strong foundation of community support in their respective industries. Adam Greenberg, owner of Mad Era Brewery, will share his perspective from the restaurant industry; Nikki Lian, owner of CKO Kickboxing, will share her experiences in the fitness industry; and Cindy Slack, owner/Realtor with Keller Williams: the Cindy Slack Team, will share her insights from the real estate sector.

Attendance is free with advanced registration.  The meeting is expected to last for about one hour and will be hosted on Zoom. Entrepreneurs, business owners, and those curious about starting a business are all encouraged to attend.
