The Simi Valley Youth Council, Simi Valley Unified School District, and BRITE invite you to attend a free vaping prevention event at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, April 30, 2021.  "Taking a Deep Dive into the Dangers of Vaping" will be held in a 3D virtual video game platform where participants create their own avatars and roam around a fantasy world starting on a tropical island and then on a pirate ship. The objective of the game is to find treasure chests hidden on the massive pirate ship and unlocking them by answering questions about vaping to earn points. The top three players earning the highest points will win gift cards!  Random gift card winners will also be selected during the free event and ALL participants will receive swag items, including special face masks and had sanitizers.

The Youth Council encourages both students and adults to participate in this free event.  As it takes a little bit of time to create a personalized avatar, they recommend registering for their free BRITE World account no later than 6:00 p.m. on April 30, 2021.
