Metrolink Holiday Train Comes to Simi Valley

Metrolink’s Holiday Toy Express, a 450-ton holiday train adorned with more than 50,000 twinkling lights and decorations, pulls into the Simi Valley Metrolink Station (5050 E. Los Angeles Avenue) on Sunday, November 22, at 5:00 p.m. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their friends will all be aboard and present a live musical stage show. Simi Valley’s own Merry Minstrels will also perform traditional carols while attendees wait for the train. This family-friendly event is free to all attendees.

Ventura County firefighters will also be present to accept new, unwrapped toys for the Southland Firefighters’ “Spark of Love” toy drive. Local firefighters typically collect more than 100,000 toys each year. All toys collected will be distributed by firefighters in their local communities to families who may not be able to afford gifts this holiday season.
