Calling all entrepreneurs: Are you interested in learning about angel investing, hearing the success stories of local business owners, or networking with others who have the start-up mindset? Well, the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, California Lutheran University’s Hub 101, the City of Simi Valley, and the Youth Employment Service are hosting a special event for you at the Cultural Arts Center on November 5, 2019. Arrival/Seating begins at 6:45 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Themed “Inspire Entrepreneurship,” this event will feature: a welcome address from Mayor Keith Mashburn; a presentation on angel investing from Mike Panesis, the Executive Director of Cal Lutheran’s Center for Entrepreneurship; and two keynote speeches from regional entrepreneurs, Tom Holt, the founder of Urbane Café, and Dorina Timbol, the founder of Platinum Sports Center.
