Water Conservation Landscape Workshop

The City of Simi Valley and Golden State Water Company are offering a free Water Conservation Workshop that will focus on landscaping materials and techniques to help save water and money by reducing irrigation. The California Friendly Landscape Training Workshop will be held on Saturday, October 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi (map).
Participants will learn landscape and garden design, the benefits of using California-friendly plants, sprinkler system basics, and soil, fertilizer and watering requirements.
