The City of Simi Valley/Ventura County Waterworks District No. 8 and Golden State Water Company invite residents to attend a free Drip Irrigation Conversion Class on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Simi Valley Public Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road. This free two-hour workshop will teach homeowners how to retrofit sprinkler nozzles into a water-efficient drip irrigation system by learning more about these topics:

- Components of the system - sprinkler and drip irrigation
- System retrofit
- Basic irrigation system maintenance
- Common irrigation problems
